The company arose from the work of a local baker in the Kampen town
of Weelde whose specialty galettes enjoyed huge success in the
region. In 1973 the baker, Louis Van den Broek, decided to set up a
new company to produce the famous galettes. Thus the company was
born.
It was quickly clear that company’s waffles were appreciated far
beyond the Kempen region, and the company rapidly expanded its range
and extended its production equipment. In 1978 the company moved to
the local industrial zone, and acquired a fully automatic waffle
oven.
By the end of the 1990s Louis Van den Broek's two children had
joined him in the firm, so that company is now run by a combination
of experience and know-how with a healthy dash of youthful ambition.
The company's exponential growth is first and foremost due to
continuing flexibility, quality, and error-free delivery. Growth
also called for ongoing investment in production equipment. Today we
are modern company providing large-scale production of a complete
range of waffles meeting the highest standards of health and safety.
